K.I.D.S strongly believes in the long term and consistent support of children who lack access to family stability, food security or education. Over the years we have founded and support a home for up to 27 at risk and vulnerable girl’s, a preschool /kindergarten with a meal program for 50 children, education and vocational training sponsorship program for over 60 children, a countryside after hours English school and meal program for 40 students. |

A Shared Honor: The K.I.D.S. Journey On March 21, 2024 at Rideau Hall, founders Adrianne Dartnall and Rick Lennert were awarded the Governor General's Meritorious Service Medal by Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada. This prestigious honour recognizes their founding of the Kids International Development Society (K.I.D.S.) and their decades of humanitarian work. - The donors, volunteers, schools, and the anonymous nominator whose support made the work possible. "We could never have come close to this award without all your love and support," the founders say. "We truly hope you all feel you are a part of this honour too."
